ANTIQUE SHOP PART 4

Finishing the walls

The pillars next to the fences are already finished.

The pillars are identical to the ones besides the bow-window.

The walls now are more in line with the bow-window and this emphasises the height.

The last finishing touch of the bow-window

Although it's on scale there is still a need for cleaning.

The windows must be wiped before they are placed.

Curtains

The windows are provided with dark green curtains.

I used thin velours fabric which I placed behind the pillars of the bow-window.

This makes it possible to glue them on the wood instead off glueing them  on the windows.

In the meantime I also made light into the bow-window and this generates a beautiful picture.

(Regretfully the camera delivers a somewhat faulse image, too much light in the top of the bow-window)

II can watch hours at this and I am extremely satisfied with the result.

The foundation of the roombox is almost done.

Only the skirting-boards need to be finished but I want to do that later so I can put furniture against the walls.

Where necessary I still can decide to leave parts of the skirting-board away.

I've worked on this roombox with care and patience which resulted in a roombox as I had in my mind.
